4/13: Sex Ed Trivia, 8pm. Hess Rec.
Grab some friends, put together a team and join Planned Parenthood VOX for a fun and informative evening of trivia featuring a taboo topic: sex! There will be lots of laughs, some fun prizes and everyone is guaranteed to learn something new.
4/15: Take Back the Night, 6pm, Constitution Park
Take Back the Night is a national event that seeks to create safe communities and respectful relationships through raising awareness of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual abuse, and other forms of sexual violence. We’ll meet in Constitution Park and march up to Troth Yeddha’ Park to hear surivors’ stories and inspiring messages of hope.
4/22: Green Dot Action Pledge, 12-4pm @ SpringFest Mud Volleyball
Stop by the UAF Green Dot table at Mud Volleyball to learn more about the Green Dot program! We’ll have free ice cream for anyone willing to make a commitment to doing their part to end violence on our campus.

4/24: Run for Respect, 12pm, Registration in the Whitaker Building parking lot
Run for Respectcosponsored by UAF Green Dot and the Nanook Diversity and Action Council — raises money for Girls on the Run, a prevention program of the Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living. Registration for this 5K walk/run costs $20 (or $15 for students/military or $10 for youth). Register online via OrgSync.
4/30: Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, 2pm, Pioneer Park
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is the international men’s march to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence. Walk a Mile is a fun way to get involved in raising awareness of violence and sexual assault in Fairbanks. This event literally asks men to Walk a Mile in Her Shoes!
